Instagram Highlights Viewer
Highlights are the stories a profile chose to keep. View Story opens them for any public account without a login, so you can watch and save stories that are weeks or years old, anonymously.
What an Instagram highlights viewer does
When an account pins a story to its profile, it becomes a highlight and stays there after the 24-hour window ends. Instagram still records who opens a highlight, just like a live story. View Story lets you browse those highlights without being recorded: enter a public username, and the highlight covers appear above the live stories.
Tap a cover and the stories inside it load as cards. You can play videos, open photos at full size, see when each one was posted and download any of them. Nothing is tied to an account, so the owner never sees you in the viewer list.
How to view Instagram highlights anonymously
The same search box, one extra tap.
Enter the username
Paste the public @username or profile link into the search box above and press View stories.
Pick a highlight
Highlight covers appear in a row under the profile card. Tap the one you want to open.
Browse the stories
Every story saved in that highlight loads in order. Play videos, open photos full size and check the posting dates.
Save what you need
Each story has a Download button. Files are saved in original quality with no watermark.
Why view highlights here
No viewer record. Instagram tracks highlight views too. View Story keeps you off that list.
Old stories, intact. Highlights can hold stories from years ago, and all of them load here.
Dates included. See when each story in the highlight was originally posted.
Download any of them. Photos as JPG, videos as MP4 with sound.
No login, no app. It runs in the browser on any phone or computer.
Free without limits. Open as many highlights from as many profiles as you like.
Highlights and profile pictures, in the same place
Highlights are the stories an account decided to keep. View Story lists them above the live stories, so you can open one and browse stories that are months or years old, each with its original date. The profile picture can be opened and saved at full resolution instead of the tiny circle Instagram shows.
One search covers all of it. You do not need a second tool for highlights or a third one for the profile photo.
What highlights can and cannot show
A highlight only contains what the owner put in it. If a story was never added to a highlight, it expired after 24 hours and cannot be recovered by View Story or any other tool. Highlights on private accounts are not accessible either; View Story only reads public profiles.
What you do get is the complete content of every public highlight, in the original quality, with the original audio for videos, and without the owner knowing you looked.
Frequently asked questions
Can someone see that I viewed their highlight?
Not through View Story. The view is never tied to an Instagram account, so your name does not appear anywhere.
Do highlights show how old a story is?
Yes. Each story card shows when it was originally posted.
Can I download a whole highlight at once?
Stories are downloaded one at a time, each with its own Download button, so you can pick exactly the ones you want.
Why does a profile show no highlights?
Either the account has not created any, or the account is private. View Story cannot open private profiles.
Are highlight downloads the same quality as the original?
Yes. The file is the one Instagram serves, unchanged.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no login or sign-up anywhere on View Story.
Does it work with reels or posts?
View Story focuses on stories, highlights, profile pictures and followers. Feed posts and reels are not part of the tool.
Can I view highlights of an account that blocked me?
If the account is public, View Story shows it regardless of blocks, because no Instagram account of yours is involved. Private accounts are never shown.
